Anti-Ragging/ Anti-harassment Cell

As per compliance of the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India- “Curbing Ragging in Educational Institutions” and in view of the UGC Guidelines and Ragging Prohibition Act-1999, our institution has taken Anti Ragging measures by the formation of Anti Ragging Cell comprises of Anti Ragging Committee and Anti Ragging Squad to eliminate ragging in all its forms in the college.

It is mandatory for every student and his/her parents to submit an Anti Ragging Affidavit at the time of first admission to the college. This link is given in the college website with the on-line application form. All the applicants have to view "Online Anti Ragging Affidavit Form" & the Anti Ragging Affidavit Form to be filled up online and after online submission, a print out should be taken. Address in this form and application form should be same and that will be verified during admission, otherwise the admission is liable to be cancelled.

Objectives: The college ensures that all stakeholders understand the policies and procedures for dealing with ragging/ harassment. An "Anti-ragging/Anti-harassment" Cell is constituted to monitor the ragging and harassment activities, if any, in the college.
• Any victim may complain in writing to the Principal through e-mail: principal@agcbosecollege.org or to the cell which would be kept confidential.
• The victim may register a complaint at National Anti-ragging Helpline (ARH) through e-mail: helpline@antiragging.in and ask them for a complaint number.
• If anybody does not want to disclose his/her name, an anonymous e-mail ID can be made. Moreover, an FIR can be lodged personally to the Police Station against the accused or through the Head of the institution.
• If a complaint against any person is proved to be true, he/she will face disciplinary action, the magnitude of which will be determined by the College authority/the Governing Body according to his/her discipline breaking act.
• Anti-Ragging/Anti Harassment Cell is fully responsible to ensure that no incidence of ragging takes place in the campus.
