Scholarships

 

(a) Loan Scholarships to the poor but meritorious students, Stipends to the S.C. & S.T. students, tuition-fee concessions and grants from Students' Aid Fund are available to the students of slender means.

(b) Students in need of financial assistance are to apply to the Principal in the prescribed form to be had from the college-office.

(c) The student seeking concessions and grants must be a regular student.

(d) The dates of payment of all stipends/scholarships are duty notified.
The Bursar shall notify the dates for payment of scholarships and stipends (Govt./Non-Govt). The student concerned must take payment within the specified date, failing which the amount will be refunded to the Treasury. No individual notice or letter can be sent to Scholarship or stipend-holders who fail to collect their dues.

BUS & RAILWAY CONCESSIONS

Bonafied students of the college are entitled to travel at concessional rates, subject to the following conditions:

(a) On Submission of an application concession certificate will be issued by the College for travelling from the place of residence to the coilege and back.

(b) Students in employment are not entitled to concession certificates. (c) During Puja vacation & summer recess Railway concession certificate will be issued for journey to the residence of parents only as recorded in the College Admission Form.

EXTRA CURRICULAR FACILITIES

Indoor and out door games and sports of the College, publication of Magazine, holding of debate, recitation, music competitions, educational excursions and other cultural functions are mostly under the control of the College Union run on a selective basis with full membership rights for every
Bonafied student. Every student is provided with every possible facility for participation in all the extracurricular activities.
